Who We Are
We support children and youth to reach their full potential!
We provide free career counselling, admission guidance, and scholarship support to students from economically weaker backgrounds across rural Bihar. Our services help students who face the risk of dropping out after 10th and 12th grade due to financial constraints or lack of guidance.
Through our Career Development Centers and dedicated counselling offices located in Gopalganj, students can access expert advice on course selection, university admissions, and government schemes like Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC).
We run specialized programs including the Education Continuity Program, Girls Education Uplift Campaign, and Scholarship Admission Support to ensure every child gets equal opportunities for higher education. Our helpline and counselling centers are always available to guide students and their families toward informed educational decisions and brighter futures.

Ms. Rashida Bashir Khan
Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of R.P.
Educational Welfare Trust
Ms. Rashida Bashir Khan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of R.P. Educational Welfare Trust, a purpose-driven organization born from a deep commitment to social justice, educational equity, and nation-building through knowledge.
An MBA graduate from MIT, Ms. Khan brings with her more than 12 years of extensive professional experience, spanning the corporate world and the social development sector. Her journey has given her a rare and powerful perspective—one that combines strategic leadership, ethical governance, and deep-rooted compassion for underserved communities.
During her professional career, she closely witnessed a harsh reality: countless talented students, especially from rural and economically weaker backgrounds, are forced to abandon their dreams after Class 10 or 12—not due to lack of ability, but due to lack of guidance, financial support, and awareness. Girls, in particular, face additional social and cultural barriers that limit their access to higher education.
Moved by these challenges, Ms. Rashida Bashir Khan made a conscious decision to dedicate her leadership skills, experience, and vision to creating a platform that would stand beside students when they need it the most.
This vision led to the establishment of R.P. Educational Welfare Trust. She firmly believes that education is not merely about degrees—it is about dignity, confidence, and the power to change one’s destiny. Under her leadership, the Trust has become a guiding light for students and families, offering career counselling, higher education admission support, facilitation of government scholarships and education loan schemes, and access to online and distance learning for those who cannot attend regular institutions.
Ms. Khan’s leadership philosophy is rooted in empathy, transparency, and long-term impact. She is deeply committed to empowering first-generation learners, rural youth, and women, ensuring that social or financial limitations never become a permanent barrier to success. Through her relentless efforts, she continues to inspire students to believe in themselves, parents to believe in education, and communities to believe in a better, more equitable future.
